Barel Railway Crossing

For my Sistem Interaksi (Human-Computer Interaction) class, I was asked to do a user research for one of the public facility in my campus. I chose Barel (“balik rel” – literally “beyond the railway”) Railway Crossing that connects my campus with a small street with many lodging houses for students. I have noticed many problems, such as the (sometimes) unguarded crossing, lack of lamps and light at night, and overall quietness of the place. To check whether they were really problems, I conducted an interview to the people who were passing by the crossing and created persona based on them:
